Work Chair Comfort

About This Site

Work Chair Comfort reviews office furniture by published spec.

What we do

Every figure on this site is read off the manufacturer's own spec page, and every spec table links to the page it came from so you can check it. When a maker doesn't publish a number, the cell says “Not published”. We would rather show you a gap than an estimate dressed up as a measurement.

What we don't do

We don't sit in these chairs, and we never claim to. There is no hands-on testing here, no scores out of ten, and no star ratings — inventing those is how review sites end up recommending chairs nobody has touched. What we offer instead is the mechanism and the geometry: which design solves which problem, and which published specs actually distinguish one chair from another.

We also check whether a chair can still be bought. Two chairs that appeared in earlier versions of our posture roundup had been discontinued by their manufacturers; they're now listed as discontinued rather than recommended.

Corrections

An earlier version of the posture roundup published seat-height and lumbar figures that we could not trace to any manufacturer source. They were removed, and the table was rebuilt on 27 August 2026 from primary sources only. One column — lumbar adjustability measured in inches — was dropped entirely, because no manufacturer publishes it and so no honest value could ever have filled it.

How we make money

Some links on this site are Amazon affiliate links, marked as sponsored. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That never determines which chair we recommend, and our commission rate is our business, not something to be printed in a table you're reading.
